Acorn Pottery Workshop
Whimsical, cute, and just a little bit wabi-sabi... let’s make an acorn you can use!
In this hands-on pottery workshop, you’ll create your own acorn-inspired lidded vessel using handbuilding techniques. We’ll guide you through shaping the base, forming a perfectly fitted lid, and adding those signature acorn details (yes, the little textured “cap” is the fun part).
Whether you imagine yours as a trinket jar, a tiny stash container, or just an adorable fall-themed piece, you’ll have plenty of room to make it your own—smooth and simple or full of texture and character.
No experience needed. We’ll walk you through each step so your lid fits, your form feels balanced, and your acorn doesn’t end up… abstract (unless that’s the goal).
All materials, tools, and instruction are included.
THIS DATE IS WHEN YOU WILL MAKE YOUR PROJECT; You will choose your GLAZE DAY while you are at your workshop. You will not take your project home with you on your make day ; it needs to be fired after the workshop.
